Brow Lift

A brow lift procedure restores the eyebrows to their natural position.  For a man the brows should be at the level of the superior orbital rim.  For a female the brows should be located above the rim with a slight arch.  This procedure can be performed either with direct skin excision or endoscopically.

Burns can be severe injuries causing significant deformities, contractures, and limiting mobility.  A variety of options including skin grafts, tissue expanders, and flap reconstruction can be used to improve these injuries.

Carpal Tunnel Release

Carpal tunnel syndrome causes numbness of the hand, pain, and weakness.  Surgical decompression of the median nerve improves these symptoms.

Cheek Surgery

Using either custom implants, fillers, or fat grafting the cheeks can be augmented to improve facial symmetry.  Fat can also be removed from the buccal fat pad for patients desiring a more narrow facial appearance.

Cubital Tunnel Release

Dermabrasion is a surgical technique where the top layer of the skin is removed to correct contour deformities, acne scars, wrinkles, and other soft tissue deformities.  This is a powerful tool although other less invasive options are available including Morpheus 8 and chemical peels.

DIEP Flap Breast Reconstruction

A DIEP (i.e. deep inferior epigastric perforator) flap reconstruction uses the patient’s own abdominal tissue to reconstruct the breast.  The skin and fat is lifted off of the abdominal muscle and transferred to the breast.  With this advanced technique, which is performed by only a few surgeons in the Valley, the patient’s breast are reconstructed without implants using her own abdominal tissue.  As an added bonus since the transferred tissue is from the belly the patient gets a tummy tuck! Also, unlike a TRAM (i.e. transverse rectus adipomyocutaneous) flap reconstruction, the abdominal muscles are not removed decreasing hernias and bulges.

Otoplasty is a surgical tool used to correct prominent ears and improve the appearance of other common ear deformities.   Tears or large holes from ear piercings can also be corrected.

Eyelid Surgery

Eyelid procedure where excess skin and fat is removed from the upper eyelids with repair of the eyelid muscles to improve vision and appearance.  This procedure is used to correct "droopy eyelids".


Facelift (i.e. rhytidectomy) is a powerful surgical technique where excess skin of the face is removed to create a more youthful appearance.  The muscles of the face (i.e. the SMAS) are also tightened to create longer lasting results.  We specialize in creating a natural result to avoid a "too tight" appearance.

Fillers allow for the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles by augmenting the skin and fat to restore a more youthful appearance.  Common areas for injection include the lips, cheeks, under the eyes, and the nasolabial folds.

Latissimus Muscle Flap

Liposuction is a surgical procedure used to remove excess fat from the body.  It can be used to contour nearly every part of you including the face, neck, abdomen, thigh, buttocks, arms, and legs.

Liquid Facelift

A liquid facelift uses filler to restore volume and definition to your face to create a more youthful appearance.  Filler can be used to elevate the cheeks, create definition along the cheeks and jawline, correct dark and hollow spots beneath your eyes, and create fuller lips.

During a mastopexy (i.e. breast lift) procedure droopy nipples (i.e. breast ptosis) and deflated breasts are reshaped to create a more perky appearance.  This procedure is similar to a breast reduction although minimal breast tissue is removed.  A mastopexy is also commonly performed after breast implant removal to remove excess skin.


Microsurgery is an advanced surgical technique where a microscope is used to repair nerves and blood vessels.  It is also a powerful tool for transferring tissue from one part of the body to another (i.e. free flap) and reattachment of severed parts (i.e. replantation).  Microsurgery reconstruction is typically reserved for complex problems where skin grafting and local muscle flaps are not an option.

Migraine Surgery

Migraine surgery can reduce headache frequency, duration, and pain by decompressing the sensory nerves and vessels that may be causing your symptoms.  Trigger points can be surgically released.  Botox may also be effective.

Morel Lavallee

Morel Lavallee are a closed degloving soft tissue injury that is caused by abrupt separation of the skin and subcutaneous tissue from the underlying fascia. These often lead to recurrent fluid collections and are very commonly misdiagnosed.


Morpheus is a state of the art non-surgical tool to tighten skin by stimulating collagen production using microneedles and radiofrequency treatment.  This innovative tool is a great alternative to surgical procedures and more invasive skin resurfacing techniques such as dermabrasion and chemical peels.

Muscle Flap

Muscle flaps are a powerful tool for reconstructive procedures. By transferring muscle to different parts of the body soft tissue defects can be corrected to cover bone, nerves, vessels, artificial joints, and other hardware.

Neck Lift

During a neck lift procedure excess skin is removed, the muscles of the neck (i.e. platysma) are tightened, and excess fat is evacuated with liposuction.  The procedure eliminates excess fullness in the chin area and the "turkey neck" appearance.

Peroneal Nerve Decompression

A sural flap is an adipofascial flap used to reconstruct wounds of the ankle and leg. It provides thin pliable skin without the need for a skin graft.

Targeted Muscle Reinnervation

Targeted Muscle Reinnervation (i.e. TMR) is a surgical procedure that prevents neuroma formation by transferring an injured nerve to a recipient nerve. The recipient nerve provides a "pathway" for the injured nerve to regenerate decreasing pain allowing an amputee to more comfortably wear their prosthesis.

Tarsal Tunnel Decompression

Posterior tibial nerve compression causes numbness of the foot, pain, and weakness of the ankle.  Surgical decompression of the tibial nerve improves these symptoms.

Tattoo Removal

Using the newest laser devices and surgical techniques unwanted tattoos can be permanently removed.

Tendon Injuries

Tendon injuries result in loss of flexion or extension of the fingers and/or wrist.  Surgery is often needed to repair the tendon to restore function.

Tissue Expander

A tissue expander is an empty implant that is placed beneath skin and fat to stretch tissue.  Expanders are used commonly in breast reconstruction, burn injuries, and anywhere else where additional skin is needed to fix an injury.
